FLOOD PROTECTION FOR BROADMAYNE HOMES

Broadmayne Parish Council has commissioned a store in the centre of the village in order to make sand bags available to householders in the event of a threat of flooding. The store is on the side of No. 1 Crosstree Close (the old surgery, opposite the garage). The store is locked and if sandbags are required you should contact any Parish Councillor and they will be able to give you immediate access.

Basic Alarm System

Home Watch

The Proceeds of Crime fund are discounting a basic alarm system, which automatically dials a land line or mobile telephone number if it detects an intruder, then sounds an alarm, together with 4 window vibration alarms, for £18.00.

Contact your Local Home Watch Co-ordinator for further details

It was originally agreed to discount it just for East Dorset members only as they had a burglary problem at the time but approval has now been received to offer this alarm to all members.

The offer is sound in that a £10 discount is being applied to the TRADE price of the products. No profit is being made by the Crime Prevention Panel.

I provide it for your information and awareness.

Some Sherborne members saw this equipment being demonstrated this morning for which I promised your co-ordinator I would forward it onto you.
